Each week, for 78 consecutive weeks, artist Julia Pasqua learned about and created a tarot card in her own style. She documented and filmed the entire process, learning and teaching what each card means and explaining why she picked the designs that she did.

Major Arcana
The entire theme of the Lilith's Attic Tarot Deck, revolves around whimsy, story telling, nature, and emotional healing in a high contrast, flowing style. This is reflected strongly in the major arcana. A great introduction to the deck.
The Wands
Instead of the more phallic sticks commonly used in the wands suit, the artist rotates between magic wands and flowers for her wands suit. This brings a strong sense of nature to the cards as well as an extra touch of magic into the wands.
The Cups
Cups are flowing full of emotions. While the kind of cup changes throughout this suit, the imagery congruently reflects the movement of our emotions as we travel through this suit.
The Pentacles
A more structured suit, the artist uses her own journeys as well as fables and stories passed down from generations to emulate the meanings of the cards in the pentacles suit. Here, money really does grow on trees!
The Swords
Some may say swords are the toughest suit. They present strong and sometimes pointy lessons. Lessons, however hard, are important for us to finalize the journey through this deck, and we must not forget the strength that this suit presents us with as well.
